Great idea, fantastic truck & wall

Awesome! love the wall and Rig! Daniel RC

What is happening here? Does this mean the monolith is going away from the gym (please god take the monolith away) The “climbing community” was at horseshoe hell this week and LRCC had no representation. The “climbing community” needs an actual weight training area. The “climbing community” needs more frequent route setting for both the bouldering and top roping area. Widening your appeal to kids is good and all, but your core members need more from the expense. This gym means a lot to a lot of people but it is lagging behind modern gyms in the most insulting ways. The climbers that sustain you by paying a premium deserve more than a sub-par gym.

If only all this money was put towards new holds/weights 🥲

So let me get this straight. Instead of taking the money from members and team parents that have been paying your bills for years and using it to buy more holds and volumes so your community can have more routes and boulders to climb, you buy a truck and wall that none of the existing members or team kids will ever use? How will your comp kids have comp style climbs to practice on a daily basis when their parents money is spent on things like this? Even if you convince people to spend enough money renting this thing to make it profitable and get some of them to check out the gym they probably won't get a membership, considering the kids that have birthday parties at the gym usually don't get one, and it's the same process of advertising, so why would the result be different? Further more, they will probably just look at the gym and realize they can have their party at the gym which has the same tower, and not have to deal with someone coming out and setting that thing up on their property, risking damage to their yards. so the only real market would be fairs and such, and they all probably would hire businesses that have walls like this included in packages that have more attractions with a more mainstream process. Also, these things were put out of business in this area by the urban playground gym and trampoline Park years ago. Whoever convinced you this was a good idea has not researched the little rock market in anyway, or just doesn't give a @#$_ about the lrcc and charged you to talk to them. I chose to believe you want to make the lrcc a real climbing gym, I've been climber here off and on for 18 years now and since you took control you got the kilter and the monkey bar set up which is great, but sadly these things should have been purchased about 5-10 years ago. After this purchase though, I don't know what to think, I think I'm having a stroke, this has to be an off season April fools. The easiest way to show your members you appreciate their business and to grow a gym like this would be to buy more holds and volumes, pay people a solid amount of money to set more climbs on a regular basis, and fill the walls with holds and volumes. Every single bolt hole. You have a small gym so even if you had twice as many climbs as you currently do(which you have plenty of space for) you would still have less than other gyms that charge what you are charging. Providing as little of content as you can and relying on the fact that we don't have anywhere else to go will only last for a certain amount of time. Just keep it simple. This mobile rig is gonna be more work than it's worth. You could literally just buy more holds and volumes and let the people that you already pay to be on the clock fill the walls. After you pay certified people to drive and set up this tower at a remote location, pay for gas, insurance , more harnesses, people to hook kids up for several hours, ect, you might get a couple hundred bucks? Please just buy more holds and volumes, even if it's just a few hundred bucks a month(but considering you probably dropped around 15k+ on this nonsense you certainly can do better than that), fill the walls with the holds and volumes, create a rotation with 4 different areas, and reset a different area each month. Please. Now for my comedic comment after my constructive criticism, because I'm still not sure if this is a joke or not. Could you please fire your advisors and allow a potato to make decisions for us. Xoxo, me
